Refund & Cancellation Policy

We aim for a fair, transparent policy on subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds for WriteBeta.ai.

1. Subscriptions and billing

Most of our paid plans are subscriptions. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record.

2. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard.

• Effect: your account keeps its current plan until the end of the billing period you have paid for.
• No future charges: you will not be charged again after the current period ends.

3. Refund eligibility

To balance customer satisfaction with the real cost of AI generation, we apply the following rules.

Eligible

• First-time subscription purchase, requested within 7 days.
• Limited usage: fewer than 3 articles generated.
• Limited usage: fewer than 10 analytics or SEO checks.
• Proven billing errors or duplicate charges.

Not eligible

• Usage above the limits above.
• Clear patterns of account abuse or scraping.
• Requests made after the 7-day window.
• Renewal charges, except in cases of error.

4. 7-Day Sprint Pass

The 7-Day Sprint Pass is a short-term, one-time purchase. It is refundable within 24 hours of purchase only if no premium actions (generation, deep analytics, or publishing) have been performed. Once premium usage begins, the pass is non-refundable.

5. External factors

We are not responsible for refunds related to third-party service outages (e.g. WordPress API issues or AI provider maintenance) unless the outage is permanent and prevents use of the platform entirely, or where the law requires otherwise.

6. How to request a refund

Email billing@writebeta.ai with:

• Subject: Refund Request – [Your Name]
• Your account email address.
• Invoice ID or payment transaction ID.
• A brief explanation of why you are requesting a refund.
